Guava Leaves as an Antibacterial

The guava is a shrub whose medicinal antibacterial activity (against bacteria) and antifungal (against fungi) of fruits, leaves, bark and other parts have been tested pharmacologicall as combatants of the following conditions:
- Staphylococcus, which causes throat infections.
- Bacillus subtilis, responsible for food poisoning and skin irritations and respiratory tract.
- Escherichia coli, which causes cholera and bladder infections.
- Shigella dysenteriae, infection of the intestine.
- Salmonella typhi, gastroenteritis.
- Proteus mirabilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which cause urinary tract infections.
- Candida albicans mucosal infections, oral and vaginal.
Among them, mainly relieves digestive diseases such as dysentery (infection of the intestine), diarrhea, intestinal worms and Amoebiasis.
